Robin, in the section "Note that some of the procedures documented in this Wiki contain low level commands that could cause serious harm to the health of your system if used incorrectly.", perhaps we should endeavor to mark such sections so that they are obvious that a certain level of 'idiot filter' should be used. While we cannot guarantee that all of these sections will get marked correctly, at least it shows effort on our part and can form part of a standard for creating articles?

notes - naming a page after the link is a normal first step, but you can quickly find some naming collisions. Solutions I have used in the past:
- extension of the article name with disambiguation information eg (Henry Winkler (actor) or Henry Winkler (politician)).
- (particularly for file uploads), pre-pending the file name your user name, therefore you only have to deal with your own namespace for naming articles / files

Suggestion: "Getting started" section should be on a page of its own - a README if you like, that can be referred back to from time to time, but should include the links given, and also a 'style guide' with optional and compulsory article elements?
eg
- references to facts should be listed in footnotes
- quotes/facts must be referenced
- dangerous sections to be stylised in this xxx fashion (eq pre-formated "Warning!!", with red border, above dangerous section?)
- use of categories is encouraged, but must be kept in check, with new categories requiring some kind of peer/moderator review before being used (to try to keep category overload to a minimum)

Auto-generated Contents sections can be hidden on a page by page basis by including a 'wikiword' in the article. Do you think we should do that for the Main Page? (I do). -- I just need to dig out the code word!
